Based in Mallow, Co. Cork, we have been delivering innovative engineering solutions to customers throughout Ireland since 1988.
The company was established to provide reliable and efficient material handling systems for the agricultural and industrial sectors, with the name MATFLO originating from its core purpose—Material Flow. In 2017, the business was acquired by Seamus Fitzgerald and Tadhg Hickey, who continue to build on Matflo’s reputation for engineering excellence by investing in people, manufacturing capability and modern project delivery.
With over three decades of experience, Matflo Engineering has successfully completed projects across the feed milling, grain handling, agri-food, fertiliser, biomass, recycling, mineral processing, water treatment and industrial manufacturing industries. Our team understands that every process is different, which is why we design bespoke solutions that maximise efficiency, reliability, safety and long-term performance.
Our expertise covers every stage of a project, from feasibility studies and process design through mechanical design, 3D modelling, equipment manufacture, steel fabrication, site installation, plant upgrades, commissioning and ongoing technical support. We design and manufacture a wide range of equipment and complete handling systems including conveyors, elevators, hoppers, bins, screw conveyors, bucket elevators, and bespoke process equipment for dry bulk materials.
